Doris Gaspartic, born in Croatia, began drawing as a child, with her passion for art growing steadily in her teens. Doris ended up completing a Graphic Design course in secondary school followed by a Fine Arts course at the Venice Fine Arts Academy.

In the 80's she went on to take part in many individual and collective exhibitions as well as travelling extensively across Europe.

In the 90's she visited Portugal, a brief stopover in Lagos changed her life. "I fell in love with the city" - she says...

She still lives and works in Lagos.
